Introduction
Agentic automations, the Nuxt way. What Nuxt Agentic is and which edition fits your project.
Add agents to your app without building a separate service, queue, and run store. Define agents in Markdown, give them typed tools, and expose database tables with access rules.
Choosing an Edition
| Edition | What you get | License |
|---|---|---|
| Nuxt Agentic | @nuxtagentic/nuxt: Markdown agents, defineAgentTool, streaming runs with useAgent(), a DevTools tab. Any Nitro preset. | Free, MIT |
| Nuxt Agentic Pro | A Nuxt layer and a starter app: durable runs, approvals, a dashboard, automations, integrations, workspaces, sign-in, Agentic Models, MCP. Cloudflare Workers. | Paid |
| Void Agentic Pro | The same product on Void (Vue and Vite) with its own starter. | Included with Pro |
| Enterprise | Planned: SCIM provisioning, OIDC single sign-on, and audit log export. | Coming later |
Start with the free module when you want an agent inside an existing Nuxt app. Choose Pro when your users need saved agents, approvals, scheduled work, and connected accounts.
What a Pro App Looks Like
The Nuxt starter organizes agent code like this:
server/
agents/support.md # an agent: instructions, model and tools
tools/issue-refund.ts # defineAgentTool, with approval: true
models/customers.ts # Drizzle table + defineAgenticModel
automations/support-inbox.ts # defineAutomation: webhook, schedule or event
integrations/resend.ts # defineIntegration for your own APIs
app/
pages/support.vue # useDurableAgent('support') in your own UI
Files in these folders are discovered and typed. The dashboard at /dashboard lets your users
edit agents, approve tool calls, connect accounts, and follow runs.
