Licensing & FAQ

What each license covers, how updates work, and answers to common questions.

Nuxt Agentic packages are distributed as follows:

  • Free: @nuxtagentic/engine and @nuxtagentic/nuxt, MIT licensed on npm.
  • Registry setup: @nuxtagentic/cli, also MIT licensed on npm, handles Pro login before installing a starter.
  • Pro: the @nuxtagentic-pro/* packages and the starters, under the Nuxt Agentic Pro License Agreement, installed from a private registry with your license key.

This page summarizes the licenses. The License Agreement published at nuxtagentic.com/license is what applies.

FAQ

Can I build as many apps as I want?

Yes. Every tier allows unlimited apps that you or your organization own, with any number of end users and servers. Building apps for clients requires Agency; Enterprise will be available later.

Do my users need a license?

No. People who use your app do not need a license, as long as they cannot read the Nuxt Agentic source or build their own apps with it.

What happens when my updates end?

You keep every version released during your update period, forever. The registry offers newer releases again after you renew. agentic upgrade only offers versions you are entitled to.

Do I get the source code?

Yes. The packages ship readable TypeScript and Vue source, and the starters are full projects you edit. You may change anything for your own apps. You may not publish the source or resell it as a starter, template or framework.

Can I use it in CI?

Yes, with the license key as a private CI secret. Do not use it in public CI where others can read it.

Why Cloudflare?

Pro runs agents and automations on Durable Objects, stores data in D1 and files in R2. That gives durable runs that wait for approvals and survive deploys, without a separate queue or database server. The free module runs on any Nitro preset.

Which AI providers are supported?

OpenAI, Anthropic and Google with your own API keys, and Codex CLI or Claude Code during development. Nuxt Agentic does not proxy or resell model usage.

Is my data sent to Nuxt Agentic?

No. Your app, database and credentials stay in your Cloudflare account. The private registry only sees package downloads with your license key.

Can I switch between Nuxt and Void?

Team and above include both starters. They share the same server, models and dashboard, so models, tools, integrations and automations move between them.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds follow the terms shown at checkout.
